The La Ghersa vineyard comprises 15 hectares of Monferrato, which with heavy pruning produce a limited yield of 22-23 litres per hectare - coupled with a judicious selection of oak, result in a wine of great character and diversity.
Massimo pursues the ultimate rustic Barbera, that can, in many cases exceed the quality of Barolo. His reputation at home is already mentioned by several revues that extend as far as Japan, USA, Canada, France and England.
