EzReklama Publishes Top Google Keywords for Online Classifieds Searches

Businesses want to sell goods and services. When it all happens online, it helps to know what people are looking for. Armed with this knowledge, businesses adjust their marketing campaigns to the consumers’ needs and wants.  It is all about “supply and demand.” You tell me how many people are looking for a particular item and I will supply you with as many items to fill that demand.

EzReklama (said easy Reklama) provides these answers in a recently published blog post (see http://articlesandblogs.ezreklama.com/pub/articles/market... ). Web surfers are always looking to sell or buy goods and services on the internet.  They look for all the usual things one would expect to find published in the classifieds like baby stuff, books, cars, household items, jobs, personals, greeting cards, games, pets, magazines, music, videos, horoscopes, skilled help, products, ringtones and other purposeful information, although most of all, they are searching for freebies.  They want it all and they want it free. In short, they want something for nothing.

EzReklama identified the top Google keyword terms and phrases used for online classifieds searches by individuals worldwide and the number of times these searches are performed on a monthly basis. EzReklama then ranked them from highest to lowest in order of most popular to least popular search terms or phrases. We limited our research to the Google AdWords application since many businesses use this powerful tool to manage all their online ad campaigns. It not only alerts the user to customer word or phrase search preferences, but it also makes available a series of tools to help you optimize your ads, analyze your ad performance, and otherwise optimize your web site. We used the Keyword Tool to arrive at our list of keyword performance statistics and global monthly search volume. The global monthly search volume is based on “the approximate 12-month average of user queries for the keyword on Google.com and the Google Search Network.” The parameters of our search was further limited to the following six terms or phrases : “Classifieds”, “classified ads”, “classified ads online”, “internet ads”, “free”, and “internet advertising” in that order. The term “free” was added here as the wild card (the unknown or unpredictable factor for good measure).

Which search phrases came out on top and which terms are used least are identified below along with the number of global monthly searches. Misspellings were not corrected in this case, as that may be important knowledge as well.
