The Oklahoma Art Guild would like to invite artists nationwide, over 18 and working in all visual media, to submit entries for our national juried exhibition. 'Oklahoma Friendly 2010' is set to open at the IAO Gallery, 706 W. Sheridan, Oklahoma City on Saturday, April 17th 2010. This exhibition will be on display, April 17th through May 8th.

The jury panel will consist of four art professionals from the Oklahoma arts community and guest judge, Mitch Lyons. Mr. Lyons of New London, Pennsylvania, is an acclaimed artist whose innovative clay monoprints are collected throughout the United States.
The Oklahoma Art Guild will host Mr. Lyons for a two-day workshop "Monoprints from Clay" at Los Milagros Print Studio, on April 17 and 18, and a public demonstration at City Arts Center on April 19th.
Over $4000 in cash and prizes will be awarded.
Annalisa Campbell, president of the Oklahoma Art Guild noted, “This exhibit continues to grow in the number and diversity of entries. The variety of media and the breadth of styles exemplify the inviting nature of our state. This will be an art exhibit that everyone can enjoy.”
The Oklahoma Art Guild (OAG) is committed to the promotion of creativity, education, and the advancement of the visual arts. This non-profit organization was founded in 1954 and continues to provide support and encouragement to Oklahoma artists. OAG membership is open to professional and amateur artists of all media, students, art enthusiasts and patrons of the visual arts.
