Amelia Island, FL -- SIGVARIS presented its 2010 AVF Traveling Fellowship awards to three vascular surgery medical residents during the American Venous Forum Annual Meeting, this year held at Amelia Island, FL.
The SIGVARIS-sponsored fellowship was established in conjunction with the American Venous Forum Foundation to encourage excellence in the study of venous disease by supporting the education of young vascular doctors. The award is a $3,000 grant to assist medical residents or fellows with their expenses so they may attend the Annual Meeting of the American Venous Forum, typically held in February every year.
