The solar energy company offers the Home Depot's BP Solar PV (photovoltaics)
"We’re pleased to extend our solar energy design and installation business on Long Island to include the high-quality BP Solar photovoltaics products offered through home improvement retail giant Home Depot,” said Dan Sabia, Built Well Solar’s president.
Representatives of Built Well Solar are conducting free Solar Energy Seminars and Solar Energy Info Booths in most of their designated Home Depot stores during February and March, and are hosting special Earth Day and other events in April. More information and schedules of monthly events are available at the company’s website, www.builtwellsolar.com.
One example, a representative of Built Well Solar Corp. will be on hand at an upcoming Solar Energy Info Booth on Saturday, February 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the East Meadow Home Depot at 2000 Hempstead Turnpike offering free information about solar energy and a FREE raffle of a solar-powered emergency preparedness radio/USB cell phone charger and a toy solar race car kit for kids.
At the February 20th Info Booth, customers can learn how converting from electricity to solar power can save money and the planet! Customers can also obtain information about the energy output and durability warrantees on BP Solar panels in solar-electric (PV) systems provided through Home Depot which Built Well Solar installs.
Other information to be offered includes:
• LIPA cash rebates -- thousands of dollars available from the Long Island Power Authority for those who upgrade their homes or businesses with solar energy system installations.
• Federal and state tax credits help pay for residential and commercial solar-electric systems
• How a payback with money that would otherwise be spent on rising electric bills paves the way for ongoing free electricity.
Also available is information about a unique "skylight-look"
Bring a LIPA bill . . . and a google.earth aerial photo of your home or commercial building to find out specifics about how solar can work for the particular site.
