As more and more hotels in Ireland are discovering twitter, Travelshake Social Media has created a new list of Ireland’s top 50 hotels on twitter by number of followers.
The top 50 list contains 10 Dublin hotels, 9 Cork hotels and 5 from Northern Ireland. The number one place is occupied by the “Travelodge Ireland” hotel group with 1,489 followers, narrowly beating “the d hotel” in Drogheda.
Other counties that feature hotels in the top 50 are Antrim (Belfast) with 4, Kerry with 3, Louth, Waterford, Mayo, Galway, Wexford with 2 hotels and Clare, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Sligo, Derry, Carlow and Wicklow with 1.
