By introducing a division dedicated to slashing shrink, Southern Imperial now offers retailers a more comprehensive merchandising solution. ILP features retail loss prevention innovations that not only protect but also promote products.
ILP developed through a relationship with IMCo Inventory Management Consultants, a Berlin-based loss prevention consulting group whose extensively researched solutions brought significant shrink reduction to the European retail market. ILP will be the exclusive North American distributor of IMCo’s intelligent merchandising system.
By incorporating open merchandising into anti-theft displays, ILP offers secure solutions that deliver maximum brand impact and raise sales. Unlike defensive merchandising that can interrupt or even deter sales, testing has shown ILP’s intuitive solutions to deliver a double-digit increase in sales.
The growing rise of ORC played a significant role in shaping the direction of ILP. To confront this challenge, ILP specifically designed its inaugural product line to secure hot products targeted by professional shoplifters due to their high resale value. Initial tests of these systems demonstrated an average stock loss reduction of well over 50%.
