Stamford, CT – The public is invited to an Ambassadors’ Roundtable breakfast presentation “The New World of Cyber Threats” by Scott Borg, Director and Chief Economist of the U.S. Cyber Consequences Unit, being held at the Stamford Yacht Club on Wednesday, March 10.

The cost of the breakfast and presentation is $50 for the public.  It is free to Ambassadors’ Roundtable series members. Advance reservations are required for the breakfast meeting, which starts with coffee and networking at 7:15 A.M. followed by a full buffet breakfast at 7:30 A.M.  Scott Borg will speak at 8 A.M. and will take questions.

Scott Borg originated many of the concepts and categories currently being used to understand the strategic and economic implications of cyber-attacks.  He discovered that the American economy could be extremely vulnerable to the sort of cyber attacks that would hijack information systems with false information.  He founded the US-CCU at the request of senior government officials, who wanted an independent, economically-oriented source of cyber-security research. He has lectured at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, London, and other leading universities.

Reservations and advance payment are required.  Space is limited.
