Fred Olsen’s European Cruises for 2010 include trips and excursions to see the amazing sights, cities and scenery of Europe. Cruise ships will visit cosmopolitan capitals and naturals wonders of this diverse continent. Every cruise offers the intimate, relaxed style and friendly, attentive service typical of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.

Norwegian Celebration
This 7-night Norwegian cruise offer starts from 15th May 2010. The ship will leave from Dover, and then go to Oslo (Norway), Fredrikstad (Norway), Kristiansand (Norway), Stavanger (Norway), Dover. The best place where to experience Norwegian culture at its finest is the capital, Oslo, on Norway's National Day. After a day of parades and funfairs, clients can relax as Balmoral heads for the fjords and beautiful scenery of southern Norway, including the charming cities of Kristiansand and Stavanger.
Carrying 1350 passengers the Balmoral is certainly the grandest ship of Fred Olsen’s fleet, yet still compact enough to offer an intimate, homely atmosphere. The Balmoral offers 710 elegant comfortable cabins, world-class cuisine and diverse onboard activities.

Secrets of Spain
This 8-night Iberia cruise starts from the 30th July 2010. The ship will leave from Southampton, then go to La Coruna (Spain), Gibraltar, Lisbon (Portugal), Vigo (Spain), Southampton. Black Watch will journey south on an exploration of the Iberian peninsular. This cruise has it all to offer to who is attracted by the history of La Coruna or taking in the rolling cityscape of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, with a chance to see the apes of Gibraltar.
Featuring a large number of cabins and suites with balconies, Black Watch can accommodate up to 804 passengers. Offering many traditional cruising features, in December 2009 the ship’s décor had a major refurbishment of the public areas; including a new casual dining area, which replaced the Garden Cafe and became The Braemar Garden.  New soft furnishings have also been added to the Neptune Lounge, Piper's Bar, Glentanar Restaurant and Observatory Lounge.

Viking Voyager
This Norway cruise starts from the 8th August 2010. The ship will leave from Rosyth (Edinburgh, then go to Molde (Norway), Andalsnes (Norway), Trondheim (Norway), Olden (Norway), Bergen (Norway), Rosyth (Edinburgh),  Anchor Port. With a short hop from Rosyth across to Western Norway, Boudicca will go right into the heart of the Norwegian fjords. Here passengers can explore mountain villages, marvel at the highest mountain wall in Europe and then meander around the brightly coloured waterfront shops of Bergen.
Holding 856 passengers, Boudicca has attracted a band of loyal followers, being spacious yet on a human scale. There is an appropriate British historical theme with each public room, lounge and restaurant designed to ensure the mood is in keeping with her sister ship Black Watch.

Canaries Collection
This Canary Islands Cruise starts from the 5th October 2010. The ship will leave from Dover, then go to Funchal (Madeira), Santa Cruz (La Palma), Santa Cruz (Tenerife), Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Arrecife (Lanzarote), Lisbon (Portugal), Dover. As the cold autumnal winds start blowing at home, Braemar will head south for the sub-tropical delights of the Canary Islands and Madeira.
Passengers will have the chance to relax in the sun on idyllic, palm-fringed beaches or absorb the cultural highlights and whitewashed towns these islands have to offer. During her recent major refit and lengthening, Braemar added over eighty passenger cabins and suites with balconies, bringing the standard occupancy up to 929. Voted 'The Best Refurbished Ship' in Cruise Critic's 'Editor's Pick Awards' 2009, it is also the second of Fred Olsen ships to feature a pub, which, on occasion, offers entertainment in the form of a late night comedian or jazz.
