Naxcer Composites Group announces former Secretary of the Air Force has joined the Board of Advisors

Feb. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Naxcer Composites Group, specializing in new manufacturing technologies for composite materials is announcing the addition of Tidal (Ty) W. McCoy to the Board of Advisors.
Ty McCoy is Chairman of Washington Capital Partners and a former Vice President of Government Relations for Thiokol Corporation.  Prior to joining Thiokol, McCoy was appointed by former President Ronald Reagan as the Acting Secretary of the Air Force from (1981-1988).  He also served as the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Readiness Support and Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower, Reserve Affairs, and Installations. Before these appointments, McCoy was assistant for National Security Affairs for Senator Jake Garn.

Ty McCoy has and does appear before Congress to testify on various matters and appears on national television as well as an expert and as a spokesman.

He has served at senior levels in the aerospace industry, assisting in the transition of defense technology to the private sector and assisting in the acquisition and sale of large companies.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Space Transportation Association of the USA, Vice Chairman of the Defense Forum Foundation and he serves on the Boards of several private sector companies.  Ty McCoy is a Vietnam Army Veteran.
