The UK’s leading drinks logistics company Tradeteam has been crowned European Transport Company of the Year.
Tradeteam were voted overwhelming winners at the Truck Europe Awards, beating five other shortlisted hauliers from Romania, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Holland to the title.
Following a successful final award pitch Tradeteam’s Managing Director Gavin Murdoch and Customer Services Director Ed Coppinger collected the prestigious award in front of hundreds of transport professionals in Brussels.
The coveted accolade follows a string of recent domestic industry honours including Motor Transport’s Haulier of the Year and Customer Care award and GreenFleet’s Private Sector Fleet Operator of the Year.
Tradeteam were among 12 operators originally nominated for the European Transport Company of the Year award judged by industry experts, truck manufacturers and leading logistics magazine editors from across the continent.
Tradeteam’s second round submission received high praise and on the night the distribution giant was ranked highest for customer service and financial stability with one judge declaring them ‘a clear winner’.
