Extreme Internet Software has announced the release of Endless Slideshow Screensaver 1.4, its popular free and unique desktop screensaver for Windows.

Endless Slideshow Screensaver is a powerful photo slideshow screensaver for Windows with all the features any other slideshow screensaver usually has: support for many popular photo formats, beautiful transition effects, configurable transition duration and delay between photos. It allows to pause and resume the slideshow, view next or previous photo, set current photo as desktop background and perform many other actions using the keyboard.

But why is Endless Slideshow Screensaver unique? Its ability to find, download and show free high quality desktop wallpapers automatically makes this screensaver stand out. It offers more than 20 wallpaper categories to choose from: Nature, Places, Sports, Cars, Cartoons, Girls, to name a few, and delivers fresh pictures every time the screensaver is turned on.

In the new version the possibility to display any picture information was added. Now the screensaver can show picture file name, original picture size in pixels, any EXIF data and others. This feature will be very useful for those who like to view digital photos. Also the way any text information is shown was dramatically improved. Users can now choose what information they want and where on the screen they want it. Plus, text font, size and color can be easily configured along with optional background box, soft shadow and opacity level.
