Ez-XBRL Solutions - Detailed Footnote Tagging

Feb. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Ez-XBRL Solutions is pleased to announce the enhancement to their current offering with detailed footnote tagging as per SEC mandates. In addition to Phase 1 filing requirements, SEC has mandated the following for Phase 2 filers:

  1. Each significant accounting policy within the significant accounting policies footnote should be tagged as a single block of text;
  2. Each table within each footnote should be tagged as a separate block of text; and
  3. Within each footnote, each amount (i.e. monetary value, percentage, and number) must also be tagged.

Ez-XBRL’s solution enables data mapping from detail textual footnotes (paragraphs). The enhanced solution has a unique feature of facilitating data mapping from two-dimensional and multi-dimensional tables.
