The Musical Grease starts up with a summer love story between two teenagers. As they live very far apart, their love seems to be desperate, but destiny has other plans: after the summer they find themselves going to the same high school. The boy, Danny, does not behave the same though: at school he is member of a gang and it is not compatible with his reputation to meet up with only one girl. On the other hand, the girl, Sandra, is very prim. The only way to keep up their love is to find a compromise between the two extremes. Reinventing oneself becomes inevitable.
As a teenager and even later you have to deal with many difficult issues and it is always connected to reinventing yourself. Everybody has to scrutinise oneself for countless times, sometimes even without realising it. You have to adopt to new circumstances, you gain new experiences and therefore throw over all your old outdated conceptions which is often hurtful. This human behaviour is essential otherwise mankind would not develop. Interestingly enough the re-occuring self- discovery has not changed at all since 1959, in California, when Sandra and Danny got to know each other.
Consequently, the story of Grease is suitable especially for young people finding themselves in that period. Nonetheless, for older people Grease is a must-see attraction too reminding them of the great 60s.
The musical is outstandingly performed in the Piccadilly Theatre in London picking up famous music titles such as “You're The One That I Want”, “Grease is the Word” and “Summer Nights”.
Dino Johnson, the owner of the on-line company Gift-tours.com is pleased to announce the musical discounts and welcomes the positive impacts involved that more people gain access to awesome Musicals such as Grease.
