Wacky Nation support CLIC Sargent
Sally Raynes of Wacky Nation is pleased to announce that their official charity for 2010 is the children’s charity, CLIC Sargent.
Sally Raynes, the events organiser says, “Wacky Nation is all about crazy, mad and unique sports and contests. We have competed in over 115 wacky events in the UK and have written the first Wacky Nation book (published by Icon Books Ltd). We are now beginning to develop and organise our own portfolio of crazy events. As we continue to promote ourselves around the world and receive publicity in the media, we felt it was beneficial to raise the profile of one of our favourite charities at the same time. We also hope our exploits will encourage others to sponsor us and if we raise £1000 this year, we’ll do something really stupid!”
Wacky Nation can be sponsored via their website homepage.

ABOUT CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent was formed in 2005 after a successful merger between CLIC and Sargent Cancer Care for Children. Both had a rich history of excellent care and support and together we are stronger and more effective providing more for more children and young people with cancer and their families. CLIC Sargent helps as many children and young people as possible survive cancer and make the most of their lives. They also help the whole family cope with the trauma of cancer, life after treatment and, in some cases, with bereavement. They make sure that young people with cancer and their families can speak out about their needs.
