First Annual Mardi Gras Party

Feb. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Fat Tuesday and you have No Plans –-- Here is a great idea! Come to the First Annual Mardi Gras Party being brought to you by the Action Party of Morton Grove. What better way to celebrate Mardi Gras, the festival New Orleans was once famous for — that is, until tomorrow, February 16, 2010. After tomorrow, New Orleans will have to share its fame with Morton Grove! The Action Party, with its fun-filled evening of good food and fellowship, plans to put Morton Grove on THE Map.
Join us at Classic Bowl on the west side of Waukegan Road about two blocks south of Dempster. The party will begin at 6:00 pm and go until 8:30 pm. For $12 per person, or $20 per couple, you can have pizza, Caesar salad, garlic bread and sweets for dessert.
You probably know this , but for the few of you out there who don’t , here is the tale behind it all. “Gras” is French for fat and “Mardi” for Tuesday. Here's your chance to come and help the Action Party start a new Morton Grove Tradition!
