Holland, MI – Crayon Interface, a leading provider of software and service for controlling and monitoring home and vehicle environments, has introduced a new offering for teen drivers and their parents. The program, called Copilot (http://www.copilot.gomoshi.com) provides parents with peace of mind by monitoring the driving behavior of their teenagers through an innovative telematics solution. Crayon Interface created Copilot as a training tool aimed at the 12.5 million teen drivers on U.S. roadways who are in the process of developing safe driving skills. Copilot is an easy to install device that plugs into a standard port found in all vehicles built after 1995 and it monitors drivers’ behavior through PCs and mobile applications. With Copilot, parents can instantly locate their teen driver, receive alerts when teens are driving aggressively, set geo-fence boundaries and generate reports on driving behavior. Copilot provides real-time monitoring of the vehicle and is an effective tool for creating a Graduate Drivers License (GDL) report which is required for new drivers in 49 states. Copilot’s mobile application is widely available on several mobile platforms including Blackberry, Windows Mobile, iPhone, Android and Java phones.
