The International Builders’ Show was held in Las Vegas from January 18th through January 23rd, and this year was all about moving forward and leaving the past behind.
Highland Homes was represented by Kathie McDaniel, Sales and Marketing Director for the Central Florida home builder. McDaniel has been recognized in the Central Florida real estate market as an industry expert and is a national speaker, instructor and trainer for the National Association of Home Builders. At the International Builders’ Show she participated in a presentation to hundreds of attendees who gathered to learn the newest trends and successes for advertising and marketing. This year McDaniel presented somewhat of a sequel to her 2009 presentation on Social Media with the company's Web site management team, Mitch Levinson of mRelevence (http://www.mrelevance.com). In 2009, Mitch and Kathie were just introducing how to get started with social media and internet marketing. This year they were able to provide results and prove how Highland Homes (http://www.highlandhomes.org) can track new home sales to those marketing efforts.

At the International Builder Show McDaniel was awarded a Travel Grant by the Professional Women in Building (PWB) and elected as the new Trustee for District 5 of the PWB. The PWB and SMC council's have applauded her efforts for educating others about the industry for continued growth, as well as offering her educational courses free for those who want to learn and earn designations in the building industry. Congratulations to Kathie McDaniel for her involvement in the industry when others are fleeing to new careers.
Highland Homes is instrumental in the local, regional and national marketplace for new home builders. They are also setting the pace for another remarkable year and this is obviously a remarkable company looking forward to 2010.
