Linked Local West Suburb Chicago group hosts “Out of the Cyber World & into the Real World" event

Feb. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Addison, IL.  March 10, 2010:  The Linked Local West Suburban CHICAGO group, a LinkedIn.com group with over 2,000 members in association with Mandatek LLC, is hosting a networking event designed to give its members and other businesspeople in the community the opportunity to meet in person and strengthen business relationships started in the cyber world.   Several of the Linked Local group’s members will be hosting marketing stations and will also be featured on the “westburbschi” YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/westburbschi.
   
Approximately 300 people attended the first “Out of the Cyber World and into the Real World” event held on January 27, 2010 at Emmett’s Ale House in Downers Grove.  The event’s organizers are anticipating an even larger crowd for this second event.  "We’re looking forward to another successful event in March. What makes this networking event unique is the fact that attendees get to continue building relationships that were mostly started in the virtual world," said Mike Boehler, the group’s organizer.  “Social networking groups like LinkedIn are an excellent way to connect with new people from the comfort of your office or home, and events like these take those connections to the next level."
