The solution provided by Pescador is the replacement of the traditional rubber and TPU sole for a carbon fiber sole, woven and infused with a new method which gives the sole a longitudinal flexibility while a high resistance to transverse deformation and, of course, very lightly.
The weight difference between a Pescador sole carbon and a traditional rubber exceeds 300 gr. This difference in weight would produce shoes to Pescador still lighter than the 344 gr. announced. However, the Pescador PRO model is made from natural leather, something heavier than synthetic leathers, both in the lining of the shoe as the insole, so that the player's foot is in contact only with natural materials.
Another aspect that affects the weight of this shoe is the double crown of cleats. 5 central cleats, smaller and hard, provide perfect traction and support on the ground. 7 cleats on the perimeter of the wide sole improve sense of stability in the swing.
In total, plus any 4 cleats on the heel, a total of 16 cleats per shoe, 32 cleats per pair. Still, the PRO model remains the market lightest among golf shoes designed for all play conditions.
