As of February 14, 192 countries and territories are represented in the site's stamp catalog, with more additions being hinted at in the near future. Colnect's catalogs operate under wiki-like principles, meaning trusted members can add or modify content on the site.
Colnect founder Amir Wald attributed these impressive results to the site's team of stamp contributors and collectors, who make daily additions and improvements to the catalogs for the benefit of every Colnect member. "I am especially grateful to our stamps coordinator, Fabian Eicke, for his tireless work in organizing these catalog contributions and helping to create an extensive database that all stamp collectors can enjoy," Mr. Wald remarked. Although he indicated his approval of the catalog's progression, the Colnect founder emphasized that much work remains to be done. "If you have any stamps or other collectibles not yet in Colnect's catalogs, please let us know so we can include them. We would particularly like to add substantial numbers of stamps from Asian and African countries," Mr. Wald explained.
