All America Transportation, a Missouri logistics service, cautions of new safety regulations that the rest of the shipping industry may find hard to abide by.
The new regulations will take effect in the Summer of 2010, in which around 49% of the current carriers on the road today will have to make changes in order to pass an audit. The bumped regulatory standards will, hopefully, make the Missouri roads a safer place.
All America Transportation further states that "According to a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration estimate, fewer than 8% of carriers nationwide are audited each year."
Different states will experience the regulation according to a time table. All states are expected to pass CSA standards by December of this year, while some states such as Missouri have already enrolled in the program.
