(Palm Springs, CA)—November 16, 2009—Giving back to the community is an important part of Chef Aaron Kiefer’s mission through his successful company East Meets West Catering. That’s why today, and through Thanksgiving, he and his staff are devoting their time to help pack, wrap and ship turkeys to 12,000 people who are less fortunate through Morongo Band of Mission Indian’s outreach program.
“We love doing this every year,” says Kiefer. “It gives me a real sense of pride to know we are helping make the holiday brighter for 12,000 families from the Coachella Valley to skid row in Los Angeles. I really admire Elaine Matthews and Regina Ross from the Tribal Council who continue to spearhead this annual effort!”
Kiefer’s staff is also providing meals daily through this effort to 200 volunteers who generously assist with the program.
East Meets West Catering is a full service catering company handling a wide scale of events for the Coachella Valley and beyond. At only 28 years old Chef Aaron’s accolades are impressive.
