Be prepared to travel as Blondo takes you from Wan's boyhood surroundings in Vietnam across the globe to the United States, and then back to Vietnam again, this time as a U.S. soldier. While Wan is in Vietnam during the war, he meets with his father and seeks his blessings. You will be inspired by Wan's honored immigrant path of hard work and devotion to family. And you will be fascinated as you are introduced to the historical reality of Americans replacing the French in Vietnam. Blondo tells Wan's story through a backdrop of history, conflict, and assassinations. But the real story is the tale of Wan's persistence and courage as he fights his way to personal vindication and survival.
