Blog Series Helps Resolve Conflict in the Workplace

Conflict in the workplace can cripple teamwork and stifle progress. But it doesn’t have to. Karen Black of Insight Edge helps leaders and their teams solve their conflicts and get back to work with her conflict management facilitation.

Kansas City, Mo. – If there is one thing that is inevitable in the workplace, it is conflict between people. Wherever there are diverse groups of people with different motivations and agendas, there will be differences of opinion. While there may not be a way to eliminate conflict from your organization, there are ways to manage conflict so that it does not become debilitating.


It is estimated that over 65% of performance problems resulted from strained relationships between employees (MTI). With her years of conflict management experience, Karen Black of Kansas City based Insight Edge, a Coaching and Consulting firm, has developed a four-part blog series for leaders dealing with conflict in the workplace. The blog series, “Conflict Resolution,” is aimed at helping leaders resolve conflicts quickly and systematically to minimize disruption. The series, found at www.insight-edge.blogspot.com, will help leaders:


Identify conflicts between employees
Ask the right questions to get to the root cause of the conflict
Facilitate conversations without bias
Establish positive action steps
Resolve the conflicts and get back to business
