Stephan has had the opportunity to teach astronomy at educational centers as well as at colleges all across the US. He has been an active educator for over two decades and he specializes in extragalactic astronomy as well as in research involving dark matter. At present, Mr. Martin focuses on the transformative power of insights that are derived from modern science as well as the integration of such concepts into personal experience. Stephan is an Assistant Professor of Astronomy at Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. He graduated from Colgate University with honors and holds a Masters in Physics and astronomy from the University of Wyoming. He has worked at the Williams College Observatory as a supervisor and he has also worked for the Space Telescope Science Institute. He many writings have appeared in a variety of publications including The Focusing Connection, the Shaman’s Drum, and The Bulletin of the American Astronomical Society.
