Alec Sloth – Mississippi, Niagara will be on show at the gallery until March 21st and this collection of photography may really leave visitors with a feeling that they have witnessed something special.
The spectacle brings together two of the artist's most famous exhibits – Sleeping by the Mississippi from 2004 and 2006's Niagara.
A collection of images and archive materials make up the show, which are being shown for the first time in Italy.
The exhibition is closed on Mondays, but opens from 10:30 until 20:30 local time, or until 23:30 on Thursdays and Fridays.
Entrance costs €4 (£3.50) and €2 or €3 for concessions.
Alec Sloth was born in 1969 in Minnesota and won the Santa Fe Prize for photography in 2003.
His work is on display at several major art institutions, such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Walker Arts Centre.
