Convergence Training - Driver Safety Courses
Camas, WA – Feb. 11, 2010 – Convergence Training, a division of Capstone Technology Corporation, announces the release of its new line of Driver Safety videos and computer-based training. The first courses in this planned series include Driving Preparation, Alert Driving, and Driving Hazard Recognition.
Randy Kohltfarber, Convergence Training’s Director of Product Development, points out that accidents related to transportation regularly account for the highest number of occupational fatalities in the U.S. He adds, “Since part of our goal is to produce quality content that has a positive impact on the industry and ultimately save lives, it simply made sense to develop a Driver Safety series.”
To that end, Convergence Training’s researchers, writers, graphic designers, and 3D animators have spent the past few months meticulously storyboarding, illustrating, and bringing to life some of the most critical concepts that define safe driving habits.
The Convergence Driver Safety series is designed to be used by any organization with staff that’s responsible for driving personal or company vehicles for work. Delivery drivers, mobile trade services, building contractors, and outside sales staff are just a few of the roles that could benefit from the information provided by these training courses.
“Our new Driver Safety courses represent some of our most advanced animation and visuals to date,” says Kenny Della Valle, Production Manager at Convergence. He continues, “With 3D animation, there are so many subtle elements to get right. So we took our time and focused on the details. I think these new courses really showcase our attention to quality.”
