Feb. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Decorating for Valentine’s Day? Don’t forget to decorate your Blog! Yes, starting this month, a one-of-a-kind service from NoviDomiDeco™ enables WordPress® bloggers to decorate for the holiday—any holiday. The newly released NoviDomiDeco utility lets WordPress bloggers create a temporary graphic border around the inside of the browser window viewable by anyone visiting their site. Bloggers may also select to run special floating graphics like hearts, cupids, balloons, or butterflies that gently drift across the visitor’s browser window. Both decoration modes run in major browsers without affecting the blog’s functionality.

The NoviDomiDeco Decoration Engine™ allows members to schedule their decorative borders in advance of holidays, celebrations and events. Each scheduled border will start and stop according to the client’s own settings.

Using NoviDomiDeco.com through their WordPress blog administration settings, members personally select a decorative border from a repository that contains graphics representing many different themes or holidays. The number of available graphics is increasing daily because artwork is contributed to the community by the members themselves. Paid members, who are allowed to upload graphics, also receive a “Designed by” link to their site from wherever their artwork is placed.

“Every year, at Halloween and Christmas, I’d wish for some way of adding cheerful decorations to my blog” said Robert Parker, the inspiration behind NoviDomiDeco. “I simply wanted to be able to decorate my site for a couple of weeks, a few times a year. Well, this year, instead of wishing that someone else would do it, I designed it myself.”

During the special launch promotion, members may use the NoviDomiDeco Decoration Engine for as many blogs as they want to install the utility on without charge.

NoviDomiDeco is a combination of three Latin word roots. Novi means new. Domi is derived from the word domain, which is another way of saying house or home. However, since we’ve designed an Internet-based utility, domain, as in URL, seemed just perfect. And of course Deco comes from the word decorate. So the whole name meaning New Domain Decoration works out pretty well. And it sounds fun.
