Most of us engage in the traditional forms of communicating with someone: telephone, email and in-person, on a daily basis, but in the past few years a new method of staying in touch has become increasingly popular. Skype is a free software application that allows users to make free calls and have video conferences over the internet. Many people think this is primarily used for long-distance communication, but financial planner Jeff Lapidus, The Retirement Coach, is taking advantage of Skype’s abilities to keep in touch with clients locally.

This opens the doors not only for communication about your finances, but with any relatives, friends or business associates with whom you would like to stay in contact.
