Fuel Injector Clinic (FIC) announces the newest addition to its high-z fuel injector product line: the 1100cc/min high impedance custom injector is NOW available. Retailing for $450 for a set of four, FIC’s 1100cc fuel injectors are the largest high impedance injectors with Evo/DSM (EV1) plug and play fit. The plug fits all EV1/Jetronic/Minitimer/ and Honda OBD0/1 applications.

Another great benefit of the FIC 1100cc high impedance fuel injector is that it provides a great idle due to its low pulse width stability.

“The magic of this 1100cc injector is in the latest fuel injector technology, which makes it a very linear injector,” said Jens von Holten, head guy at Fuel Injector Clinic.  “The 1100cc injector provides great trailing throttle response and minimum pulse widths resulting in a perfect cold start and idle.”

This new Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc/min @43.5psi (3Bar) high impedance injector is 22 percent larger than FIC’s similar 900cc injector (also called the 1000cc injector by others) when flowed with calibration fluid, n-heptane or similar. (Approximately 97 percent of fuel injectors sold today are flow tested using calibration fluid, n-heptane or similar allowing for ‘apples to apples’ comparisons when upgrading or purchasing fuel injectors.)

This 1100cc injector, based on the same new EV14 technology as FIC’s 900cc high-z fuel injector, provides the proven consistent idle and linear flow characteristics established by this category of injectors. But, with the trend toward E85 and higher horsepower street and racing applications, the 900cc is short of the mark in some applications even when higher base fuel pressures are used.

The FIC 1100cc fuel injector fills the gap between the 900/1000cc injector and the 2150cc injector. This 1100cc fuel injector will be a good match for 500 to 700WHP engines using E85 (depending on base fuel pressure).
