This two-day woodturning masterclass in Didcot on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th April 2010 (followed by informal demonstrations in the shop on Saturday 17th April) is an opportunity not to be missed. It allows turning enthusiasts with some experience of hollow form turning to hone their skills in a hands-on environment. Those who use the Munro Hollowing System will get to enhance their skills by working under the watchful eye of the master of the form using the tool that is the culmination of over ten years of experimenting with hollowing tool design. This represents a rare chance to see one of the most popular wood turning tools in the expert hands of its designer.
Due to the expected high demand for this two-day masterclass, and to ensure that attendees get as much one-on-one attention as possible, the allocated spaces are strictly limited and are on a first come, first served basis. The masterclass will be taking place in The ToolPost’s very own training facilities on the same site as The ToolPost store, in Didcot, Oxfordshire. On Saturday 17th April, customers at the store will be able to watch informal demonstrations from Rolly Munro at the shop itself.
