The Genal Valley
LAB-Digital has launched photography holidays in conjunction with the Hotel Bandolero in Juzcar, Spain.
Based in the beautiful Genal Valley, famous for its mountain landscapes, wildlife, birds and unique flora, guests are accompanied on location shoots by professional photographers. Throughout, they have access to friendly, expert help on composition, lenses, filters, lighting and exposure to help develop their own skills and style.
Options available include Long Weekends (3 night), 5-day (4 night) or week-long holidays; non-photographer partners are welcome at a reduced rate.
The Hotel Bandolero is a rustic hotel full of character, famous for its cuisine, and boasts lovely terraces, bar, swimming pool and its own art gallery. Extra activities can be arranged, including cookery, painting, walking, a trip to experience flamenco or wine-tasting evenings.
Shoots take place around the mountains and villages of this idyllic corner of Spain and include a day trip to enjoy the stunning attractions of the nearby town of Ronda. Editing and post production techniques will be discussed and demonstrated each day; individual analysis and critique is an essential element.
Prices start at €499 for a long weekend and rise to €650 for a full week. These prices include accommodation, breakfast, evening meals, full photographic guidance and tuition throughout, airport transfers and transport for the day trip to Ronda. Guests need to make their own way at Malaga airport.
