You asked for it, and QMetry 3.5 delivers. Since the release of QMetry 3.0 and its complete GUI overhaul, we have received feature and enhancement requests ranging from the dashboard to the overall usability of QMetry. Our R&D team has listened to all the requests and has been hard at work to make them a reality. With that said, we are excited to announce the release of QMetry 3.5 with a focus on the Dashboard, Test Execution, and Profile sections.
“With the updated Dashboard, users are not only able to view metrics across release, build, and project levels, but also have the option to pick and choose what metrics they want to see” said Sandip Patel, Business Development Manager at QMetry. Users can also view the metrics both in graphical and tabular format with the ability to generate a report of said metrics.
“In Test Execution, we have added a section for platforms, e.g. browsers or operating systems with the ability to link such platforms to test suites, giving the end user more flexibility in reusing a single test suite rather than creating multiple test suites” said Vipul Jani, Operations Manager at QMetry. Users can now run the same suite across multiple platforms, and see the run details in the execution history. With the new Snapshot feature, users can record and compare different run results within QMetry.
Personalization is key, and in the new Profile section users can customize QMetry to their liking. Users can now select the landing page they are directed to upon logging into QMetry. In 3.5, users can change how they are addressed as well as modify the number of records they see per page. Last but not least, users can manage their account information from within the Profile section. From setting or changing your password to viewing all the projects a user is assigned to, the new and improved Profile section will be a tremendous benefit to users.
