The Buenos Aires government and Asociación de Centros de Idioma de Argentina recognize Íbero as one of the leading language schools in Buenos Aires and the best choice for a TEFL TESOL Course in Argentina.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 10, 2010 -
Teaching English as a Foreign Language, commonly known as TEFL, refers to any one person teaching English to a student whose native tongue is not English.  Usually TEFL instructors are found working in countries other than their home country.  TEFL is also abbreviated as TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) and TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language).  These three acronyms, among others, can be used interchangeably, but we refer to the program as TEFL here at Íbero IBERO School.

Our TEFL tutors have years of experience teaching English and know exactly what skills you need to become a successful English teacher.  You will learn about method teaching, how to create lesson plans, how to establish a rapport with students, create activities, promote student interaction, testing, etc.  Each TEFL student will be required to create two sets of teaching material and will receive six hours of in-class teaching time with real English students before earning his diploma.

“We have worked very hard over the years in order to achieve the best academic quality in all our programs, TEFL has been a big challenge. I wrote the book and edited with other ESOL ans ESL professionals” says Florencia Bozzano, Director and Co- Founder of Íbero Spanish/TEFL School.

Íbero IBERO School is unique because we provide two options for our students interested in becoming TEFL certified.  The first option provides the student with four weeks including 100 hours of intense TEFL training and six hours of teaching time.  This option also includes three weeks of intensive Spanish courses the student can take before or after their TEFL training.  This option is ideal for the TEFL student interested in teaching English in a Spanish-speaking country.  The second option excludes the three week Spanish course and instead offers four weeks of over 100 hours of TEFL training.  Our school is located right in the center of Buenos Aires.  Blocks from some of the must visit attractions, Íbero makes an excellent launch point to explore the city.  IBERO is located 5 blocks from the Obelisk, the iconic architectural symbol of downtown. With this exceptional location, students can easily stroll to major landmarks such as the Plaza de Mayo, Recoleta, Florida street and other tourist attractions. The building itself is a piece of history, once being home to the most famous tango singer Carlos Gardel.  All of our classrooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment, airconditioning for hot summer months, Wi-Fi throughout the building, computers for students to use and coffee and tea in the welcome lobby.  As a student at Íbero IBERO  school you will benefit from our years of experience and our self-designed line of coursebooks.
Some of our ex students say:
•   “The school offers personalized attention and Íbero Spanish School classes are very good. Thank you for these two weeks, I`ll come back soon”. Friedrich-Wilhelm Reese, Project Manager, Germany
•   “ The courses were well structured and the textbooks were very useful. The teachers are students were great fun, and there was always a social activity to get involved in. I’d highly recommend the Íbero Spanish School experience and living in Buenos Aires. Juan and Flor are the best owners ever!”  James Hoare, Lawyer, Australia
•   The Íbero TEFL course will definitely help me in the future.  I am very very glad I chose a month long course instead go one of the weekend/ internet courses you see everywhere, they definitely wouldn’t prepare me for teaching in the real world.  It will undoubtedly help my teach in the future. I don’t think we could have asked for a more experienced or prepared teacher.  She helped us feel relaxed and encouraged as when we were nervous. I would definitely recommend both the school and the course, with advice the bring a laptop and be willing to work outside of the class room a lot. Olivia Litchfield, UK
“Íbero IBERO was a great experience, the staff and teachers are nice and helpful. Buenos Aires is a busy town and there is plenty of things to do. The food is great! “Julie Stroudley, France.
If you are interested in teaching English in a foreign country, choosing to become TEFL certified here at Íbero IBERO School in the heart of Buenos Aires is an excellent choice.
