Kranlyft, the European master distributor for Maeda Mini Cranes, has appointed Kemp Hoogwerkers as its distributor for Holland. The Dutch market had previously been covered by Kranlyft’s Belgian distributor Heli, who continues to represent Maeda in Belgium, Luxembourg and has now added the North West of France to its territory.
Kemp is a long established construction equipment distributor based in De Meern to the south of Utrecht. The company entered the lifting market in September 2008 with the introduction of the Nagano line of tracked articulated boom lifts and more recently added Ihimer spider lifts and Iteco self propelled lifts.
It also handles IHI and Kato excavators along with a wide range of attachments, Maeda is the first crane line that the company has taken on, it will be managed by the Lift/Hoogwerkers division which has separate premises on the opposite side of the street to the company’s impressive showrooms.
This is an exciting time for Kemp as they expand their offerings. With strong contacts and a reputable base they will be leading the way in developing the Dutch market for spider cranes.
