The step can be seen as a vote of confidence in the city’s property market, says owner of the new office Clinton Krouse. “Although Chas Everitt already has a well-established office in the city, the local market definitely offers scope for a second office. Each office currently has its own core focus, which will effectively increase the brand’s market share in East London.”
The office will trade as Chas Everitt East London West but will offer its services in all sectors of the local market – to bolster sales and service – while maintaining its existing service levels in its respective core markets.
Krouse, who converted to the brand in January, says he joined the group because of the benefits of its international, national, regional and local client base as well as the group’s professionalism and extensive marketing and IT capabilities. “It will benefit the trusted client base that we have built up trading as Express Properties in East London over the past six years,” he says.
“Our buyers will have greater peace of mind in that they are dealing with an internationally recognised brand when making their single biggest investment in life – property. Likewise, our sellers will enjoy similar benefits and increased marketing exposure with faster turn-around times in every aspect.
“We also expect to benefit from the fact that Chas Everitt has built up an enviable reputation in the local market thanks to the impact of its existing operation in the city.”
Krouse says the East London property market still offers good opportunities for investors in various sectors of the market.
