Okay....should I ONLY buy acai free trial offers? Are there good deals to be had EVEN if I've got to pay for it up front?
The truth? You CAN get a great deal by buying acai on a free trial basis...but ONLY if the company that distributes the product is legitimate. In 2010, there are only a few companies left that offer free trial supplies, and in my view...that's a GOOD thing! Why? Because they tend to be more honest, more reputable and more discerning than the old acai "gold rush", where lots of companies were selling so much product....that they're customer service was a distant second in terms of priority. (this has changed quite a bit over the last 6 months...especially considering some of the bad apples are no longer in business!)
You DON'T need a free trial to get a great deal these days either.......
And many times, ESPECIALLY if you truly believe you are going to be integrating acai into your diet on a regular basis, you can order 3 and 6 month supplies of acai up front, and get an amazingly bargain basement price for genuine, authentic organic acai. (the quality of which you would often pay dramatically higher prices for in a store)
And look for LEGIMIATE, reputable and honest looking distributors as well
Stay away from sites that have lots of celebrities pasted on their products and web sites...it's not a good sign. Look for clearly communicated terms of service (if you're getting a free trial for example, know when you will be responsible for canceling prior to getting another shipment) and look for clear customer service contact information as well. Stay away from super high hype offers....and promises that seem WAY too good to be true! (acai is certainly a super food....but it's not going to make you inches taller like some silly site promised last year..:-)
