No, you're not in an Abercrombie store, although you might think so if you happen to be driving around Tampa on Saturday, February 27th. From 11am-3pm, a handful of male models will be promoting Elite Moving Labor, a nationwide moving labor company which provides clean cut and friendly movers for labor only moving services.
The promotion is part of a national campaign to draw attention to this rising company and their industry. “Traditional advertising is pricey and in the past, has produced little results for us. We decided to be more edgy and have fun by doing something few others have.” Comments Brandon Scivolette, charged with bringing the campaign to life. “This is just the first of many off the wall promotions that will hopefully have people asking about our company.”
Elite Moving Labor services a small segment of the moving industry known as moving labor. They provide labor to load, unload and pack for consumers who choose a self service moving option like mobile storage, rental trucks or freight. Elite Moving Labor is one of the only licensed and insured companies in the nation and will begin licensing their brand name on March 1st, 2010 across the country to smaller, regional companies who could benefit from the brand name.
The Tampa promotion will feature shirtless male models that embody the Elite Moving Labor brand. “We are trying to generate awareness that there are different types of movers out there. We provide the best in our industry and they are polite, friendly and well groomed.” remarks Brandon Scivolette. Business cards, fliers, postcards and other marketing elements will be handed out to passersby throughout the day as they attempt to create a buzz about this up-and-coming company.
