Shedding light on how and why some part-time hobbyist have turned their passion into full-blown income streams, Cristin Frank, The Enterprising Entrepreneur and host of Biz Court: Is It a Business or a Hobby, reveals the secret of “Building Ladders to the Public.” These “ladders,”
While many entrepreneurial coaches focus solely on market preparations such as product development, manufacturing and setting up shop, Frank insists that that is only the money spending part. She says, “Business make money, therefore as a business owner, you must determine where you can monetize. If you don’t, you just have a well developed hobby.”
Frank advises, “Look at your product or service and see what existing charities and businesses it can attach to. Reach out to the voices behind those establishments and bring a partnership incentive to the table. Secondly, look at how your product or service can be bundled or divided out. This lets your audience decide if they want to learn how to fish or be given a fish.”
