Local Bay Area nonprofit Sharon Randolph Foundation is positioned to help women through there early mammogram initiative, despite cuts from the government. This grass roots breast cancer organization with a 501c3 is ready to help.
The Sharon Randolph Foundation wants to help address and combat the alarming cancer-mortality disparities in underserved communities. There Live and Not Die initiative provides education, awareness and support for those diagnosed with cancer as well as those in high-risk categories. The Foundation was launched in honor of Sharon “Miss Kitty” Randolph who lost her battle with breast cancer nearly nine years ago. In Honor of Miss Kitty’s kind spirit and generous heart, the Sharon Randolph Foundation wants to help others face the challenges of cancer with dignity and wisdom.
The vision of the Sharon Randolph Foundation is to work to help make a difference in the lives of people like Sharon Randolph. Each and every person affected by cancer has reason to hope because great advances are being made in treatment and preventive measures. However, continued work is essential to help the over 850,000 Californians effected by cancer each year. Today, you can make an immediate difference in the life of a cancer patient.
