It is currently the oldest standing civil building in the town. The business was started in 1896, by the grandfather of the current proprietor, Orlando. It was taken over by his son Modesto and subsequently, by Modesto's son, Ivo (Orlando's father), who, in 1945, named the shop after himself to distinguish it from his brothers' businesses which bore the same family name. Today, thanks to Sari, Orlando's third daughter, the IVO MILAN story has now entered into its fifth generation. --- end ---
