Astrologers to Meet in Boston for International Conference

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 09, 2010 – Financial consultants, academics, historians, researchers, and therapists are just a small cross-section of the hundreds of astrologers who will converge in at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Cambridge MA, February 24-March 1, 2010. Called Planetary Revolution: Geocosmic Alchemy II, this huge gathering is sponsored by the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), an international non-profit organization with more than 2000 members worldwide. (It's Boston Chapter has approximately 250 members.)
         What all these people have in common is their belief that economic and historical trends and cycles occur in tandem with celestial phenomena such as eclipses, planetary movements, sunspots, etc. Once considered to be a divine science that catered only to kings, astrology today is used by people in all walks of life, and serves as an important resource by professionals in many fields, from psychological counseling to stock trading, as well as those who have made it their sole profession.
         Among the more than 60 notable speakers who will present lectures, workshops, and luncheon seminars are Dr. Richard Tarnas, author of best-selling books, The Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos and Psyche: Intimations of a New World View, Robert Hand, M.A., international teacher and author of more than 10 books including Horoscope Symbols and Planets in Transit, and Joyce Levine, a consulting astrologer with 30 years experience, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, President of the Boston Chapter of NCGR, and author of A Beginner's Guide to Astrological Interpretation, Breakthrough Astrology, Transform Yourself and Your World.

         Several notable financial astrologers are on the conference faculty as well, including Arch Crawford, whose Crawford Perspectives newsletter has won numerous market-timer awards; Grace Morris, founder of Astor Economics Inc., and author of the acclaimed book How to Choose Stocks to Outperform the Market; and British financial consultant Christeen Skinner, who will present an all-day Financial Astrology pre-conference seminar.
