CSB continues to expand services

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 09, 2010 -
When Commercial Services Bureau (CSB) was set up, the aim was to provide recruitment services, credit management and debt collection, and the registration of trademarks and patents.

From a two-roomed office in Valletta the group expanded to three offices in the same area before moving to Swatar last year.

Set up in 1987 by CEO Michael Zammit's father, Tony, CSB assisted businesses, expatriates, entrepreneurs, individuals and families with their corporate needs. The group now helps iGaming companies become licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, obtains investment licences from the Malta Financial Services Authority and offers consultancy, corporate, trustee and fiduciary services, including ship and yacht registration, company incorporation and company management.

Business units within the group feature other areas, such as recruitment, corporate, accounting and credit management. Accounts and finance, consultancy, sales and business development and legal advice are also offered.

Legal services focus on company and commercial law, investment services law, e-commerce and gaming law, employment law, captive insurance, vessel registration and finance, intellectual property and immovable property.

CSB hand-holds clients through every step before setting up shop in Malta, helping them meet banks and relevant authorities, taking care of recruitment needs, handling any legal matters, finding office space, and attaining the necessary equipment and furniture.

"Malta has earned an excellent reputation within the EU and this has happened over a number of years. Big names, such as HSBC, Lufthansa Technik, Banif and Regus, have come to Malta to extend their operations globally. The advantages Malta poses are its fiscal incentives, legislative framework and competitive costs for starting up a business. Running costs are also relatively low when compared to other European jurisdictions," says Michael Zammit.

"The Maltese have a can-do attitude and this attracts foreign investors. It is easy to make contacts here and a number of meetings can be held in hours or days due to the country's size. Malta has a number of positive elements in a concentrated area and is well known for its tax incentives."

CSB is not a job centre where people come if they are out of work, adds Mr Zammit. "On the contrary, we want to target people who are happy at work, but perhaps aspire for a different career."

The group's aim is to strengthen its position as a market leader in the services it offers.

"Over the past year or so, we have set up new areas within the company, developing business-related services, rebranding, and relocating to our new business complex."
