Houston, Texas, February 8, 2010—HCA Affiliated Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center are celebrating Heart Month by helping communities prevent heart attack and stroke with non-invasive, state-of-the art cardiovascular screenings. Bayshore and East Houston are partnering with HealthYes!™ Preventive Screening to offer, those who register, screenings for five life-threatening medical conditions and diseases: heart disease, stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral artery disease and osteoporosis and helps these people know if they need to seek treatment.
Those being screened receive a clinical analysis and ultrasound images following their screening within four business days, 17-days faster than competitive services. Participants are also able to receive their results online using a secure login. The images and information from the screening provide clients with concise and easy-to-understand data they can share with their physician.
