Engaging the community in sustainability to achieve energy and greenhouse gas emission reduction goals can be challenging. Eco Hatchery provides the curriculum and hands-on tools needed to offer sustainability workshops and deliver real financial and environmental savings.
The new Sustainability Workshop Module enables organizations to present a one-hour session or series of workshops, provide DIY Eco Kits to participants, and monitor community savings online.
The module can stand alone or be integrated into an existing curriculum for students, residents, and employees.
Included are workshop presentation materials for a 1-hour sustainability seminar or workshop series. The presentation provides an overview of sustainability challenges and practical actions for households to save energy, money and the environment.
Workshop participants receive DIY Eco Starter Kits that include energy efficiency and water conservation products, along with step-by-step illustrated instructions. Eco Kits are co-branded with the organizer's logo.
Personalized online roadmaps help participants identify, quantify and prioritize energy and water savings opportunities in their own homes. User can track their carbon footprint and financial savings as they complete Eco Kit activities.
Participants can join online Eco Communities to measure their carbon footprint, compare their result to community average, and take collective action toward a common goal. The Eco Community is a valuable tool for reinforcing the workshop organizer's role as a green resource in the community throughout the year.
Eco Hatchery also offers fundraising affiliate programs, train-the-trainer orientations, an embedded carbon calculator for web sites, and turn-key residential energy conservation programs.
