IT JUST DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER.  Art and music and kids!
The Art in the Dunes Festival Chairman, Donna Nelson, of Bermuda Dunes, presented James Monroe Elementary School Principal, Mike Kint, with a check in the amount of $1000, and Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School Principal, Charles Lawson, a check in the amount of $750 to assist in funding of art and music programs for their respective schools.
The presentation took place in the newly constructed Bermuda Dunes Community  Center with the BD Council members and others in attendance.
Mrs. Nelson and her committee would like to thank the Vintage Nursery, hosts, for the 1st Art in the Dunes Festival, and the many sponsors and attendees for making these gifts possible.
Plans are in the making for the 2nd Annual Art in the Dunes Festival, to be held at the Vintage Nursery on Darby Road in Bermuda Dunes.

Festival dates this year are Saturday and Sunday - November 20-21, 2010.
The Festival Committee is accepting applications for artists, music and food vendors.
