Guilin Li River
The beautiful Li River originates from Mountain Mao'er in Xing'an County in the northeast of Guilin, measures 437 km long, and ends at the outlet of Gongcheng River in Pingle County, via Guilin and Yangshuo. The section from Guilin to Yangshuo presents the most fascinating scenery as the limpid Li River is like a green silk twining among towering peaks. Taking a boat excursion down the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, tourists can appreciate a number of scenic spots, such as Elephant Trunk Hill, Tunnel Hill, Chicken Fighting Hill and Millstone Hill.
