Menlo Park, California -- Current economic woes are not stopping a local Peninsula effort to sustaining community livelihood. In an ongoing effort to increase general awareness to both merchants and consumers about the value of local economy, Hometown Peninsula ( http://www.hometownpeninsula.org ) introduces three new Board members to its team.
During Hometown Peninsula's Monday Meeting on February 1st, 2010 Clark Kepler, CEO of Kepler's Books and President of Hometown Peninsula, happily announced the three new board members. The new members, in no particular order, are as follows:
Patricia Doody - Owner, Peninsula Window Fashions Gallery
Elizabeth Lasensky - Administrator, Stanford University
Jason Sutherland - Owner/Founder, Peninsula Shops
In addition to Clark Kepler, Curt Flaig - Owner, Aid Mailing and Fulfillment and Steven Eichler - Owner, Eichler Designs the three new board members help Hometown Peninsula near the alliance’s goals set for 2010. Currently, the seventh board position is open for applicants that are truly passionate and interested in sharing the shop local message with the Peninsula community.
