SAP Philippines held its annual PKOM (Partner Kick-off Meeting) on Friday 5th February 2010 at the SAP offices in Makati. The objective of this event is to update and inform partners of new functionality or features within the SAP software. It also includes new techniques and other information that may assist partners to improve their delivery methods or increase customer service levels. The partner network is a key element of SAP’s go to market strategy with many, many SAP users being deployed and supported through this channel.
The event was attended by representatives of all the major local and multinational SAP partners. SAP Country Manager, Jennifer Ligones, told the partners that SAP Philippines had over-achieved against targets in 2009, and thanked their partners for their help in accomplishing this. As part of the event, Philip Hall, Country Manager for Second Nature Philippines, presented to the partner managers Natural Excellence and how Second Nature can work with them to improve their effectiveness. Philip explained how Natural Excellence can be used within their sales processes and procedures, together with project delivery. He also described how Natural Excellence would improve the all round performance of the partners as well as the potential to generate additional revenue through the sale of training programs to their clients. The presentation was very well received. Several partners are now reviewing Natural Excellence to adopt it within their business and for use with their customers.
